Timber Expo success for International Timber
 
Market leaders International Timber and sister company Pasquill were joint Platinum sponsors at the inaugural Timber Expo, held at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry . International Timber focused on depth of product range and customer solutions, while Pasquill’s key message was engineering excellence and innovation. Trade visitors where keen to learn more about the range of solutions they have to offer, both received very positive feedback and are following up some exciting new opportunities. 
 
Representatives from both companies hosted seminars as part of the event’s Timber Talks programme. Sarah Broadley, Chain of Custody Manager & Malcolm Ellis, Development Director for International Timber, provided visitors with a detailed explanation of the impending FLEGT (Forest Law Enforcement Governance and Trade) legislation, while Pasquill’s Project Manager Richard Volonterio discussed the future direction of engineered wood products, focusing on panelised roof systems and long-span trussed rafters.
The exhibition welcomed over 4,000 visitors over two days.  The companies Timber Talks sessions were both well attended and feedback was very positive, the presentations providing valuable information on the future direction of legislation and engineered timber solutions.
