With cladding season in full swing, International Timber was recently approached by Barn Cottages Iscoyd to supply Dura cladding for two beautiful holiday cottages.
Barn Black Dura cladding was used for the two chalets in Shropshire, situated within the boundaries of the Iscoyd estate.
The Dura cladding was chosen due to its high-performance capabilities, whilst the materials used are 87% recycled offering a sustainable alternative to other cladding options. This low-maintenance solution will ensure the Barn Cottages Iscoyd team a trouble-free, beautifully finished look.
Wanting to make sure the cladding fit in with the scenic countryside views, the weatherboard overlap used in the design alongside the Barn Black colouring offers a traditional, rustic look, ensuring the cottage slips seamlessly into the woodland aesthetic of the site.
A spokesperson from International Timber, said: “It was a pleasure to work on this project. We offer a range of cladding, both internal and external, and it’s always great to see this timber treatment being used so effortlessly to match its environment.
“The cladding used on this project requires little aftercare, giving the chalet owners more time to focus on their guests and their services. We look forward to working with them again in the future.”
The barns have also proven to be a huge hit with guests, with one testimonial saying: “What a gorgeous cottage and setting! We stayed for a long weekend and couldn’t recommend it highly enough.”For more information on our Dura cladding, get in touch with our team here, or to book a stay at Barn Cottages Iscoyd, visit their website here.
