Case Study
In a one-of-a-kind project, International Timber was tasked with outfitting one of Europe’s largest skate parks – providing quality, hardy timber that would be able to take a beating from legions of skateboarders, rollerbladers and BMX riders.
We supplied 9mm and 18mm birch plywood to a site in Warrington, which was instrumental in creating one of the biggest skating bowls ever constructed and a 165-feet street skating plaza. The park also has the UK’s one and only indoor stunt airbag, which provides skaters with a valuable safety net when mastering air tricks.
The park’s owner was suitably impressed with the quality of our wares and will be calling upon us for further shipments of quality panel as he attempts to build another ten of these parks throughout the UK.
Our Plywood

Our specialist technical plywood is ideal for sports arenas, playgrounds, stages and the transport industry. Its hardy nature makes it particularly well suited to trailer or van floors, spectator grandstands, walkways and playground equipment.
