International Timber Apprentice Petr Janos wins Webs Training Learner of the Year award

International Timber apprentice Petr Janos has won Learner of the Year in the Webs Training Awards 2015.

Petr, managed to pip two shortlisted rivals from Pasquill to the post – topping out the Timber Merchants category.

Weighing in on the win, Petr said:

“I’m over the moon to have earned this prestigious award and would like to thank the staff at International Timber, who’ve provided invaluable training over the course of my apprenticeship there.”

The Webs Training Awards celebrate the achievements of apprentices and learners enrolled in its apprenticeship programmes and more than 150 guests attended last Friday’s (July 10th) even to cheer on the 35 nominees competing in 11 categories.

Webs has been delivering hands-on industry training in furniture and related sectors since 1968. Its mission is to positively impact the national and regional economies by delivering high-quality training programmes that are responsive to the needs of learners and employers.
