International Timber recently headed to Lincoln to supply beautiful external Accoya cladding to Starbucks for their new outdoor drive-thru.
The 1,800 sq ft building will occupy a half acre site fronting Nettleham Road and adjacent the successful Fit4Less gym, offering both drive-thru and eat-in options.
International Timber was approached by Taylor Lindsey to supply cladding – the first foray into working with this contractor. A spokesperson for Taylor Lindsey said this was the “first time we’ve used International Timber, but we have upcoming projects”, which should see this partnership grow.
The use of Accoya cladding on the Starbucks drive-thru gave a beautiful, natural finish and was an ideal choice due to the durability, high weather resistance and low maintenance of the material.
Dan Race, development director with Taylor Lindsey, said previously: “Starbucks is an ideal occupier for our Roman Gate ‘district centre’ development and will be a very positive addition to the scheme.
“This will be Lincoln’s first drive-thru coffee shop and shows the confidence that major national occupiers are now showing in Lincoln as a trading location.”
International Timber is thrilled to be at the forefront of change in the town and is looking forward to assisting Taylor Lindsey with their upcoming pipeline of work. The project was completed in early 2018, just in time for the opening of the Starbucks drive thru.
International Timber offers a wealth of cladding options and industry knowledge to ensure successful project completions. If you have any upcoming projects that have cladding needs or further timber requirements, get in touch with us today.
