International Timber recently teamed up with JP Corry to create eight brand new glamping pods at the Lorne Estate to form part of the new Robinson Village.
International Timber supplied 2200 LM of 19x144mm of Machined Siberian Larch square dressed cladding to JP Corry to create the glamping pods.
Each pod sleeps six people and provides a fresh new camping experience, acting as a fantastic addition to Lorne Estate’s offering and putting smiles on the campers’ faces.
The quirky wooden cabins are a delightful alternative to traditional camping, with the new Robinson Village sleeping up to 48 in total. Key features include an ‘alternative’ fireplace and kitchen, the woodsheds and luxury camping toilets and shower facilities.
The Machined Siberian Larch delivered by International Timber is a hard, dense timber, renowned for its stability and ability to persevere under tough weather conditions, so it was the perfect fit for this project.
We were delighted to work with the Lorne Estate on this project, and we look forward to working with them in the future.
